About Us:
Truman Elementary is one of 24 elementary schools in the Cedar Rapids
Community School District. It is located in a northwest residential area
called Cedar Hills. Truman first opened its doors to students in 1961. It
currently has two sections each of K, 1, 2, 4, 5 and three sections of 3rd
grade.
Truman also has five
sections of Special Education. Truman presently serves 331 students.
Our Mission:
The Truman community will work together to accomplish its mission of
promoting student growth and responsible citizens by using quality data
tools.
